Our school does what is necessary to accomplish its mission. Student education alone would not be enough, even though it accounts for the most important part of our activity. Others include research, especially applied research, as well as activities carried out by the Business Development Center, supporting economic and social development and the European Integration.

We created a unique structure which reinforces the School’s fundamental activity manifested in the phrase: “long life learning, at best at the home place“, in this way perfectly in line with the Bologna Declaration and Lisbon Strategy. This results in our appreciation of international cooperation, modern information and communication technologies.

Our School is also sensitive to people having difficulties in accessing the labour market. That is why our key project for the next years consists in creating and implementing of a teleworking model addressed in the first place to the disabled. This project is being funded by The European Social Fund.

We are the first Polish higher education institution which either on its own or in national and international partnerships effectively and successfully uses the Structural Funds in order to support its activities in the field of human resources development. Owing to this our School occupies high places in numerous rankings and our graduates’ diplomas are recognizable not only in Poland.

The exceptional atmosphere of the School, its original organisational culture and its openness for partnerships and cooperation allowed us to create a networked organisation with many faces, where the people are the biggest value.
